The Committee on Civil Service, Government Reorganization and Professional Regulation, chaired by Sen. Ramon Bong Revilla, Jr. conducted its organizational meeting today, September 8, 2022.

The Committee was briefed by the Civil Service Commission(CSC) and the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) of its various legislative priority measures. Among the issues discussed were the implementation of flexible work arrangements, digitalization of the civil service examination amid the pandemic, conduct of professional licensure examinations, and reporting of the quality of public service, among others.

The Committee assured its partner government agencies that it will work hand in ensuring that legislation which will benefit Filipinos will prosper under the shepherding of Chairperson Revilla.

Present in the hearing were CSC Chairperson Karlo Alexei Nograles, Commissioner Ryan Alvin Acosta, Commissioner Aileen Lourdes Lizada, and Assistant Commissioner Karin Litz Zerna. From the PRC, present were Acting Chairperson Commissioner Jose Cueto and the chairpersons of the different Professional Regulatory Boards.
