Open High School System

Senator Bong Revilla is one of the authors of RA 10665 or the Open High School System Act of 2014. This legislation creates an alternative mode of formal secondary education program to be run by the Bureau of Secondary Education under the Department of Education.

The OHS program also provides students with self-learning modules and allows them to receive education remotely and at their own pace. This gives every youth a chance to complete his/her education, which may not be feasible under the standard set up, given their personal and financial difficulties.
